We do not perform impressions for crowns, bridges, veneers and implants.

We now only make use of our digital intraoral scanner to take a digital scan of the teeth and replicate them on our screens using 3D modelling software. The scan is submitted to CAD software to produce 3D printable models.

At All Smiles Dentist, we provide general dental check-ups, which include a comprehensive oral exam of your teeth and mouth to check for any signs of disease and decay. When detected early, tooth decay and gum disease can be treated to prevent future pain, prevent tooth loss and costly treatments thereafter. The dentist is in charge of diagnosing, treating and managing your oral health.

In the absence of treatment, gum disease, or periodontitis, causes soft tissue damage and deterioration of bone supporting your teeth. Periodontitis can result in teeth loosening or tooth loss. Gum disease is a dangerous gum infection that attacks the soft tissue if left untreated. When carbohydrate-containing foods are left on the teeth, tooth (decay) develops.

Dental consultations may include comprehensive oral examinations to identify any issues that may become a future problem. Oral x-rays may be taken to examine any problems that may need attention. Preventative dental services may consist of treatment of TMJ (dysfunction) or (parafunctional habits such as) bruxism, (dental fillings), professional teeth & oral cleaning (this is the same as scale and polish), as well as scale and polish and treatment of gum disease with root planning combined with laser disinfection therapy. Other issues that may involve orthodontics, restoring missing teeth through crowns, bridges, dentures or dental implants may be addressed in an additional consultation.

We encourage all our patients, especially children, to have regular professional teeth cleaning to ensure good oral hygiene by removing stubborn deposits and plaque build-up with a full mouth scale, polish and floss. In cases where needed, a fluoride treatment may be done to treat tooth sensitivity and strengthen tooth enamel.
